Northeast Florida is home to several hospitals that are ranked in the nation’s top 100 and is one of only three locations in the nation for the renowned Mayo Clinic. Also based in Jacksonville is the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute (www.floridaproton.org), one of only five proton therapy cancer treatment centers located in the United States.
