World Trade Center
World Trade Center Jacksonville (WTCJ) works with the City of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Seaport in pursuing investment opportunities to attract international companies interested in locating to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. It helps the business committee with foreign trade opportunities by offering educational programs, seminars, conferences, trade shows and missions to various countries. In addition, WTCJ fosters international relations by giving presentations to its many foreign visitors. WTCJ is one of six locations in Florida. Others are Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando and Tampa.

 

 

International Committee
The International Committee members are currently participating in the implementation of recommendations by Competitive Strategies Group to help chart our city's future international course. Working groups within the committee include:

• Inventory & Survey of International Businesses
• Business Clusters: Information, Financial, Transportation, Construction, Aviation, Life Sciences
• International Trade Development
• International Student Orientation

Jacksonville International Business Council (JIBC)
Jacksonville International Business Coalition (JIBC) is a collaborative international business development effort between the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission and Cornerstone. The purpose of the 15-person advisory group is to develop and recommend a common economic strategy or policy in the Jacksonville region as it relates to international tactics, and then to offer counsel to the various international entities engaged in the execution of strategy.
