INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

The Jacksonville region is a “sleeping giant that is now waking up and becoming a recognized player in the global arena” and continues its emergence as a significant international business center. Centrally located with three time zones to the east and west, Jacksonville is positioned as a low-cost entry point for international businesses.

Jacksonville, Florida's emergence as one of the leading intermodal centers on the eastern seaboard comes as no surprise. It is strategically positioned within hours of the eastern U.S., the Caribbean basin and Central America and is one of the best locations for reaching the east coast of South America. Jacksonville is rapidly becoming a significant international business center. As broadband communications and transportation innovations continue to bring all areas of the globe closer together, Jacksonville is ideally suited to be your springboard to the world.

Working in partnership with such entities as the U.S. Department of Commerce, Enterprise Florida, the International Committee and the Jacksonville International Business Council (JIBC), Cornerstone operates a one-stop shop for international business development and business recruitment.
